Plant facilities

Operating from a purpose-built machine facility spanning over 50,000 square feet, Probe leverages state-of-the-art, large-scale machine tools operated by experienced engineers. Our expertise allows us to design and efficiently manufacture high-quality equipment for energy markets.

Our machining capabilities offer unparalleled flexibility, enabling us to develop components of any size and specification—whether for batch production or one-off items. We accommodate both new intellectual property (IP) designs and customer-specific IP. We have invested £1.8 million in cutting-edge machine tools in recent years. Our CNC plant features high-specification Mazak machinery, while our welding bays are home to automated T.I.G welding equipment and a computer-controlled furnace.

Probe’s fabrication base handles medium-sized work scopes, including pressure testing and painting. The workshop features two 16-ton overhead cranes, allowing efficient lifting of most items within the facility.
