We’re proud to share that our colleague Joseph Athorn has been elected Deputy Mayor of Beccles Town Council! At Probe, we’re thrilled to support Joe, his drive to make a difference both professionally and personally inspires us all.
Joe had the following to say about his appointment;
“I joined Beccles Town Council in May 2024 and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience so far. It’s a significant commitment, but I’m incredibly grateful for the support I’ve received both at home and in the workplace. From flexible working arrangements to sponsoring charity events, their encouragement has made all the difference - I couldn’t have achieved even a fraction of what I have without their support.
I was honoured to be contacted by the Mayor and asked to consider the role of Deputy Mayor, and I was officially elected on Tuesday, 4th November. My first duty in this new role will be laying a wreath at the Beccles War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday.
Once again, I want to thank everyone at Probe who has supported me - and continues to support me - in my ‘crazy’ dreams, like becoming Mayor. That possibility is quickly becoming a reality, and I truly couldn’t do it without them.”
