Strip, Blast & Inspect

Probe delivers comprehensive refurbishment and overhaul services for pressure-containing and critical equipment, with many scopes executed in accordance with API 6A requirements. 

Equipment is fully strip-down, blast-cleaned and inspected to assess condition, integrity and compliance. Detailed inspection reports are issued prior to any intervention, providing clear visibility of condition and recommended scope of work. 

As an API-licensed provider, Probe is qualified to undertake 5-year major servicing, refurbishment and re-certification activities, ensuring assets are restored to operational and regulatory standards. 

Rework & Repair

Probe provides a full range of rework and repair services, from minor machining adjustments to complete component rebuilds. 

Our capabilities include seal face skimming and re-cutting, bore restoration, and full rebuilds using welded cladding and subsequent machining. All work is carried out in accordance with defined procedures to ensure dimensional integrity and performance. 

We have the capacity to re-cut seal faces on large components such as 40 ft riser joints, as well as undertake precision bore cleaning and restoration on smaller diameter pipework, ensuring components are returned to serviceable condition.
