Welding
Probe’s fabrication facility is engineered to support the manufacture of large-scale, heavy-duty structures with precision, quality, and efficiency.
With eight dedicated welding bays and a 32-ton overhead crane lift capacity, our workshop is purpose-built for handling oversized assemblies and complex fabrication projects. The combination of high cranage and large-access doors allows seamless movement of substantial components throughout the facility, enabling us to take on work that many fabrication shops cannot accommodate.
With over 200 weld procedures, we can support most type of materials across a wide range of thicknesses on butt work, sub arch and structural welds.
Our welding capabilities
Probe is equipped for Submerged Arc Welding (SAW), allowing us to produce heavy-wall vessels, rolled cans, and pressure-related fabrications to the highest industry standards.
We manufacture in accordance with PD 5500 and ASME VIII, ensuring compliance, reliability, and integrity in applications where safety and performance are critical.
Our SAW capability provides deep, consistent weld penetration and exceptional weld quality across thick-section materials, making it ideal for demanding pressure vessel and cylindrical fabrication requirements.
